June Is Here — and So Is Pride
A guide to Pride Month events and celebrations happening across Northern Utah this June.
There's something about June in Northern Utah that just feels alive. The mountains are green, the gardens are going, and the communities I serve are out in full color — literally.
June is Pride Month. And across Davis, Weber, and Salt Lake Counties, that means festivals, parades, neighborhood gatherings, and a whole lot of heart. Whether you're part of the LGBTQ+ community, a longtime ally, or simply someone who loves a good neighborhood event, there's something happening close to home worth showing up for. Here's what's on the calendar.
Davis County Pride: The Biggest Little Festival in Utah
The Davis County Pride Festival held its fifth annual celebration on May 2 at Layton Commons Park — right here in our backyard. What started in 2021 with about 30 booths and a handful of food trucks has grown into one of Utah's most beloved regional Pride events, drawing nearly 8,000 attendees and 130+ vendors this year.
The 2026 festival featured the Salt Lake Men's Choir, Matrons of Mayhem Drag Bingo, the Lavender Menaces Brass Collective, Cirque Du Kairos, and headliner Liam Lars. Executive Director Jake Boyle describes it perfectly: "the biggest little Pride festival in Utah." It still feels like community — the kind where you run into your neighbors, support local artists, and feel genuinely welcome.
Davis County Pride will also be marching and tabling at the Utah Pride Festival in Salt Lake City on June 6–7, so the Davis community presence continues all month long.
North Salt Lake: Unity in the Community
On June 1, North Salt Lake launched its 2026 "Unity in the Community" series with a Pride celebration at Legacy Park from 5 to 8 p.m. The evening brought together food trucks, a live DJ, photo opportunities, and the opening of the North Salt Lake Vendor Fair — a local marketplace running throughout the season.
Worth knowing: The Unity in the Community series continues all summer. The Pride celebration was just the first installment — a sign that North Salt Lake is building inclusion into its civic calendar year-round, not just for one month.
Utah Pride Festival: Pride Elevated
The crown jewel of Utah's Pride season is the Utah Pride Festival, June 6–7 at Library Square and Washington Square in downtown Salt Lake City. This year's theme: Pride Elevated.
One of the largest Pride festivals in the country, the Utah Pride Festival is a full weekend of live entertainment, 150+ vendors, food trucks, an ArtZone, a Wellness Space, drag performances, and thousands of attendees from across the Intermountain West. The Utah Pride Parade steps off Sunday, June 7, beginning at 100 South and West Temple through seven blocks of downtown.

Monthly community touchpoints in Davis County: Coffee & Conversations meets the last Sunday of each month at 4 p.m. at Bean's Coffee in Clearfield. Queer Youth Art Night is held the second Monday of each month at Moore Good Ideas in Clearfield (782 E. 700 South). Pride isn't just a month — these spaces exist year-round.
Why This Matters to Me as a Realtor
Home is more than square footage and a zip code. It's the neighborhood you walk through on a Saturday morning. It's the community you show up for. It's the place where you exhale.
When I work with buyers and sellers, I think a lot about fit — not just market fit, but community fit. For many of my clients, knowing that Davis County has a growing Pride festival, that North Salt Lake is building inclusion into its civic calendar, and that Northern Utah is showing up in bigger ways every year — that matters. It factors into how people feel about where they live, and it shapes the conversations I have every day about what makes a place feel like home.
I'm proud to work in communities that are growing in all the right ways.
